It is thermally protected, and is a Class 2 energy-limiting type transformer, which means its current is self-limiting and does not need a fuse or breaker switch in its circuit. It has a screw-hole mounting feature, and it fits standard wiring knockout holes. This transformer is Underwriter's Laboratory (UL) listed and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certified for quality assurance.
