The William Shakespeare 2016 Writers Edition Fountain Pen honors the literary icon with a luxurious design that is distinctively Montblanc. Its black and white scheme is inspired by the respective flags of theater, comedy and tragedy. The octagonal cap is black precious-resin with Shakespeare's signature. Barrel is white precious-resin with an ornate guilloche pattern. Fittings are gold-plate. Its clip takes inspiration from Shakespeare's signature earring, and the band depicts images from his major plays. The medium nib is 18K gold with special engraving.
