Handy hints: Knead clay before use Make sure your work surface is smooth To join large portions of clay, score both surfaces and dampen with slip (or water) Store leftover clay inside an airtight container in a cool dark place If your clay starts to dry out, add a little bit of water and put it in an airtight container Cover your project with cling wrap and a damp tea towel between sessions Wash your tools with water immediately after use
