About Monoprice 108430 Dummy Outdoor Dome Camera With
Dummy Security Cameras can be used to augment your existing security system by creating the impression that you have more camera coverage than is actually installed. They can also be used to temporarily replace faulty cameras in case spares are not available while repairs are being performed. This dummy camera is designed to look like a white outdoor dome camera and includes a blinking red LED to indicate camera activity (when batteries are installed). The round base can be mounted on a vertical or horizontal surface with proper camera orientation. Requires the use of two AA batteries (not included) for LED activity. Note: In keeping with style of real security cameras this dummy camera does not have a switch to turn the "activity" LED on or off. The LED can be enabled by installing batteries and can be disabled by removing the batteries.
