The Minka-Aire F518 44-inch Concept II flush mount ceiling fan is ideal for low ceilings with a total hanging depth of 10-1/2 inches, with or without the light. Simple in style yet ingenious by design, this hugger fan is housed in a sleek metal body finished in oil rubbed bronze with three taupe blades. It's also available in brushed nickel, polished nickel, and white finishes. With a blade sweep of 44-inches, the three concave silver blades are pitched at 14-degrees for efficient air movement. Excluding the lights, the F518 has an airflow CFM of 4600 using 40 watts of electricity. The airflow efficiency per watt is 115 CFM. And the 153mm x 15mm spinner motor completes 184/86 rpm on high/low speeds. The optional integrated light is shielded by a frosted glass lens, and the fixture uses one 100-watt mini-can halogen bulb (included). If you choose not to use the light, a coordinating solid cap is included. With cap on (brushed nickel shown; view larger). This Minka-Aire ceiling fan comes with the RC212 handheld AireControl remote system, which features a three-speed fan control in forward and reverse — making it suitable for year-round use. With the reverse switch, in the winter you are able to move heat from your ceiling and circulate throughout your living area.
