How to use the sealing function: 1. Install 2 X AA alkaline batteries (not included) in the correct polarity. 2. Place the plastic bag between the heating plate and the sealing end. Hold the plastic bag in one hand and sealer in the other. 3. Press down the heating plate so that the heating plate is connected tightly, wait for 3-5 seconds to allow the unit to heat up (adjust the heating time according to the thickness of the plastic bag), then slide the sealer along the edge at a constant speed (the speed also depends on the thickness of the plastic bag). 4. Flip the bag over and seal to the other edge. If there is a seam in the middle of the bag, also flip the seam over to ensure that this part of the bag is also properly sealed. How to use the cutting function: Hold the plastic bag in one hand(2-3 cm reserved) and the - (cut side) in the other hand to continue cutting. NOTICE: If the sealer is not in use, the battery should be removed and the hook should be installed to make sure the heating plate is disconnected.
