Reproduction World War Two US HBT jackets. This is the Second Pattern jacket, introduced in 1942, it has the square cut chest pockets and gas flap behind the front closure, finally the jackets are finished with the 13 star buttons painted in black. Although these were worn through to the end of the war especially in the hotter climates such as the Pacific Theater, the HBT uniform underwent one final change in 1943 but the only difference was changing the colour to the darker OD#7 These are a very generous cut, just as the originals were produced, the actual size of the jacket will be bigger than the size stated on the label, designed to be worn with underlayers such as the wool shirt or jumper in colder weather, if worn on its own with a shirt underneath then they will be very large so we'd recommend a size down from your regular if you don't plan on wearing many underlayers.
