This book provides instruction, very rare in the West or in English language, on how to generate the complex haunting sounds and also provides finger charts for numerous traditional music scales popular in the East. Review it's a pleasure to read. Reading the Rumi quotes featuring the nay was a special treat, as was the idea that the seemingly fickle nature of producing its sound is part of why it is considered a spiritual instrument. I hadn't thought of it in those terms before, but it's so true! Thank you for writing this, it feels like the instrument was in need of a book like this. It includes every aspect of the nay that I can think of or would want to see covered, every single piece of knowledge I've stumbled into on my own, plus many things to learn and new discoveries. -Korey
