Originally designed for shaving wood, the patented 18/8 stainless-steel Microplane blade has razor-sharp teeth that make grating effortless and that wont clog. The large 5-by-2-1/2-inch grating surface can accommodate bigger ingredients, such as a head of cabbage for cole slaw, and the matching 18/8 stainless-steel frame and satin-finish offer durable support for the blade. The grater has a non-slip rubber grip just above its head to keep it steady on a tabletop during grating.
