These knives are constructed to resist oxidation to repeated exposure to moisture, easily sharpen on a honing steel and offer an extensive selection of blades for specific food service tasks. Assembled in Santa Catarina, Portugal by competent craftsmen. The Messermeister Oliva Elité Steak Knife is a 5” personal sized carving knife with a multi-edged blade. This steak knife is expertly crafted and has a fine edge slicing blade with saw teeth added to the upward curved tip. The main cutting edge is used to slice meat while the saw teeth give added cutting power to the tip when separating meat from the bone. The grip can vary but the knife is usually pulled rather than pushed through the meat.
