Mepilex Border Flex is an all-in-one, hospital quality, oval foam dressing that effectively absorbs and retains drainage to maintain an optimal wound healing environment. The wound dressing has flexible cuts and is designed to enhance flexibility and conformability. The unique border design and shape of the wound dressing, makes it ideal for adapting to body contours. Mepilex Border Flex is designed for ease of use and patient comfort to manage moderate to highly draining wounds and aid in the prevention of skin damage. Constructed with Safetac technology the soft silicone adhesive layer, which adheres gently and securely to dry, intact skin, has been shown to reduce pain and trauma to the wound during dressing changes and minimizes the risk of breaking down of skin resulting from prolonged exposure to moisture from a wound (White R. et al.
