Step 2 Poke a hole on the fabric with the provided punch tool, strike with a hammer. Step 3 Put the fabric between the cap and socket. Step 4 Use the pointed tool, vertically hammer it with light force to push the cap and socket togethe Step 5 Poke another hole on the fabric with the provided punch tool, strike with a hammer. Step 6 Put the fabric between the post and stud. Step 7 Use the concave tool, vertically hammer it with light force to push the post and stud together. Step 8 Lock the mechanisms together securely. we don't recommend to use these snap fasteners for thick fabric (such as wool blankets), the thickness of leather does not exceed 7 OZ. Lightweight fabrics, mesh, knitted fabrics, stretch fabrics and fabrics with wear on the surface should be lined on the back to prevent them from breaking away and tearing the fabric.
