Water soluble laundry bags are designed for the safe and effective collection and handling of potentially contaminated or infectious linen and clothing. The bag is impervious to bacteria and viruses and is gas impermeable, exhibiting excellent odor containment properties. 100% biodegradable polyvinyl alcohol film dissolves completely into a non-toxic aqueous solution at 150 degree F during Hot Water machine washing and at 55 degree F for the cold water formulation.
