About MastaPlasta Self-Adhesive Premium Leather Repair
Just peel and stick a self-adhesive Premium MastaPlasta to repair any holes, scratches, rips, burns or stains on suede, leather or vinyl sofas, car seats, bags, leather jackets etc - it's easy, extremely cost-effective and looks great. Our Premium patches feature our unique engineered pressed edge for the smoothest, neatest finish. Created and manufactured in the UK by furniture designers, MastaPlasta is the world's first self-adhesive leather repair solution. It is patented and received the Queen's Awards for Enterprise for both Innovation and International Trade. Our repair patches are breathable (unlike plastic PVC imitations that trap body heat creating a sweaty experience). Our patches are also supple, strong and buttery-leather soft. Although about 0.05 of an inch thick (1.5mm), a unique tightly woven backing means you won't feel any holes underneath either APPLICATION: Simple! All you do is peel off the backing paper, then press down the patch over the damaged area. You can use the item straightaway and the bond will strengthen over the first 24 hours. Make sure the patch is big enough to cover the damage and still have some smooth and stable surface beneath for it to bond to. Check the area is dust-free and dry underneath. Do not clean the area beforehand with chemicals as this can affect the bonding. When applying on an area subject to a lot of friction or rubbing, try to make sure the edges are positioned where they are least likely to be subject to constant chafing.
