Full length, urbane, smooth and chic, the Chelsea coat is designed to keep you warm in sophisticated style. No need to worry, the "fur" ruff is made from polyester filaments, and is detachable if you want an unbroken line to your hood, and the hood itself zips off, if you're one of those lucky females who can rock a fedora. The coat is done in a polyester herringbone weave fabric. I know I get too excited about fabrics, but a waterproof, breathable, fully seam taped, herringbone weave? A decade ago such a thing was unthinkable, but today we have fabrics with drape, a lovely texture, deep and true colors, and the same weaves we'd expect in a very fine twill fabric. The internal cuffs and media pocket seem almost like overkill. The down fill in a 700 fill power, however, is not. Fashion is fabulous, but it is fluff that keeps us warm, and this coat has plenty of fluffy warmth for even the most bitter wind and winter weather. Dress it up with suit and city boots, or down with jeans and your winter hikers, this coat will get you to the train station on time, looking fine, and warm enough so you can laugh at even the worst of weather.
