Cause Awareness means taking a stand! It means wearing an awareness ribbon during Breast Cancer Awareness Month for a loved one fighting breast cancer. For friends or family members living with a disease or illness, for a loved one in whose memory you're fighting on, for a colleague for whom you're a fierce warrior, for the millions and millions of people worldwide whom you've never met yet with whom you share a common bond – to uplift, educate and advocate in the search for help and ultimately, a cure! What is "Cause Awareness" and why is it important? Every effort, big and small, brings us one step closer to our goal of eradicating an illness or supporting a loved one's struggle. A supportive network of allies is the most valuable blessing a person can have. Our awareness ribbons in a myriad of cancer ribbon colors, enamel lapel pins. We want to help you spread the word and fight for a cure in the name of someone you love! Why do some colors have many causes associated with them while others have only a few? Cause awareness ribbon meanings vary by color, such as blue and purple, and have a multitude of causes associated with them. Other colors, such as pink and black, have only a few. This is because awareness ribbons are part of the public domain, and there is no way to trademark a color to a particular awareness ribbon or cause. While some, such as the pink ribbon for breast cancer, are more recognizable and many people tend to think of pink ribbons only for breast cancer, there are other causes associated with pink, as well, such as women's health.
