Aerodynamics are often placed on the back-burner through the winter months, when most of us are more concerned about the warmth of our kit than the speed it can provide, but thanks to Maloja's StainesM Skinsuit, we don't have to sacrifice speed for comfort anymore. With light thermal insulation, and a tight fit, both warmth and aerodynamics are packed into this piece, trapping heat within to keep your core primed, while slicing through the air to minimize drag, so you can maximize your power output without losing speed to wrinkles and bulges in fabric. MitiTech thermal fabric provides a silky smooth exterior that wraps your muscles snug, and thanks to a high spandex content, has 4-way stretch to give you complete flexibility on the bike. Inside, a soft brushed lining sits against your skin to trap heat within, and pull moisture away so that you can maintain complete comfort. The upper portion of the skinsuit has long sleeves with laser cut hems, backed with a silicone gripper to create a seamless transition for air to move along, and a full-front zipper with an open waistband at the stomach line, allowing some flexibility and ventilation. The legs also feature a laser cut hem with silicone backing, but are a short-cut, rather than a knicker or pant, making them ideal to either pair with leg warmers, or go bare when the temperatures aren't too chilly. Across the shoulders is an AeroMesh yoke, allowing a bit of breathing, and more importantly, a boost in aerodynamics, as it allows you to slice through wind with ease. Maloja deploys their highest level S. A. T. chamois for the StainesM Skinsuit, providing highly technical support on the bike. The S. A. T. chamois features a 4-way stretch Poligiene pad that wicks away perspiration and fights odor, while allowing freedom of movement, and most importantly, S. A. T. multi-density memory foam. S. A. T. works to minimize vibrations and shock to the sit-bones by absorbing and dissipating vibrations before they can meet y...
