Makita's Omni-Bohrer is a multi-material drilling bit that outlasts its competitors and makes drilling easy. With its versatility engineered Tungsten Carbide Tip (TCT) which maximizes drilling surface capabilities and increases drill bit longevity. Percussion sharpened resistance carbide tip with reinforced head. Can drill multiple materials without changing drill bit (ideal for doors, shelves, window frames, etc). Use with rotary or percussion drills. Without percussion use on vitri ed brick, wood and brick. With percussion use on block, stone, plaster and most grades of concrete. Designed for general, light duty applications such as installation of doors, shelves, window frames, etc. Omni-Bohrer drill bit dimensions are: (3/16" x 3-1/2"), (1/4" x 6"), (5/16" x 6"), (3/8" x 6"), and (1/2" x 6"). Designed to work optimally with Makita Drills and Hammer Drills but will also work with any drill with up to 1/2" chucks. Makita's Omni-Bohrer multi material drill bit set comes with a protective hard plastic case for ease of use, quick access and safe storage.
