Makita's Premium Flat .045" Cutting Wheel is made from White Aluminum Oxide (WA), allowing for a tough, hard, dense and high temperature proof material which is engineered for reducing heat build up when cutting Stainless Steel (INOX). Our 60 Grit Size allows for a balanced material removal while leaving a smoother straight cut finish. This hard cutting wheel is one of the hardest in the market and ideally suited for work cutting applications such as Stainless steel (INOX). The Makita Grinding wheel is made from Brown Fused Aluminum (A), a hard and tough material with excellent high strength properties. Our Industry leading 24 Grit Size is designed for aggressive surface area removal. This hard grinding disc (R) is effective on softer metals and general grinding applications. Makita's long lasting and reliable bonding materials boasts of a premium Phenol Resin which acts as a strong mechanical Resinoid (BF) ideally suited for cutting ferrous materials, stainless steel (INOX) and all other metal applications.
