One of nature's best kept secrets is the Maine Chaga birch mushroom. When combined with the prized wild blueberry one has a healthy recipe for an herbal tea experience. Bring water to a boil and remove from heat. Add 1/8 teaspoon powder and steep for 10 minutes. May use a tightly woven tea bag or if not using a tea bag allow tea to settle in bottom of cup. Tea has light natural blueberry flavor. May add additional flavoring or sweetener. May also be made by the pitcher and kept in the refrigerator for several days. Fine white flecks are particles of the birch bark and is normal for wild harvested raw chaga. Some normal mild clumping may occur with the wild blueberries and these can be gently broken up. Keep sealed between uses and store in a dry area. 3:1 ratio chaga to wild blueberry powder.
