The MadgeTech thermal Wireless monitoring and alarming system is designed specifically for warehouses, laboratories, and other environments where temperature and humidity monitoring is critical. The system can be used to monitor a single location, or expanded to monitor hundreds of locations over a broad area (additional MadgeTech Wireless loggers and transceivers may be required). the thermal system provides real time Wireless, or wired, notification of measured parameters and features user programmable alarms that can be configured to send a message via text message (standard SMS rates apply), on-screen alarm and/or via e-mail If an alarm condition is met. The system is designed for two-way Wireless communication so one PC can provide control and communication to all the Wireless loggers within range, or the system can be divided into smaller subnets (using a different RF channel). the thermal can store each reading to non-volatile internal memory as a secure backup, and you can set up automatic archiving preferences to ensure that all data is saved and retained to comply with Federal regulations. The therm-a-lert data logger transceiver comes with a built-in temperature probe for monitoring its surrounding temperature. The therm-a-lert-p has an external RTD probe that can be placed remotely in an extreme temperature environment such as an industrial freezer. The therm-a-lert-rh has a built-in temperature probe and RH probe for monitoring both paramators in its immediate souroundings. All three therm-a-lert transceivers require the RFC1000 Wireless RF transceiver which connects directly to a PC via a provided USB adapter cable. The 150'' indoor transmission range of the therm-a-lert transceivers can be extended by using a RFC1000 repeater (optional accessory) which receives and rebroadcasts the signal effectively doubling its operation range.
