The visible tenuous undulating grain on the blade was resulted from folded repeatedly during forging. Bo-hi (blood groove) is added to each side of the blade which can not only lighten the blade but also balance it to achieve optimal performance. (If you do not want the Bo-Hi, just let us know and we can customize for you.) This Tsuka is High Quality Hualee wood which is well known for its hardness. This saya is also made of High Quality Hualee wood which is hard and tightened. Notice: 1. The sword is attached with saya and free silk bag. 2. Box and stand are not included.
