About Light & Motion Taz 2000 Bike Headlight

Light & Motion has been proudly designing and manufacturing innovative, high-quality bike lights since the early 1990’s in Monterey Bay, California. They have been a leader in the industry since the beginning--pushing for higher product standards, integrating rechargeable batteries, and converting to premium Cree LEDs for the best light quality. The Taz 2000 is the most impressive and sought-after primary MTB light due to its high output and broad beam pattern. Most lights of its kind require a corded battery, but not the Taz. The battery integrated design makes it frustration free to mount and recharge after rides. Mounting is uncomplicated, using a low-profile heavy-duty rubber strap that fixes tightly to the handlebar for technical single-track riding. It also comes with a GoPro mount if you prefer to mount the light off the bar. Other safety features include optional amber colored side lights that emit 180 degrees of visibility--great for riding on the roads on the way to the trail. A color coded battery indicator gives the rider the battery’s charge status during use and while recharging. The integrated Li-Ion battery can be recharged using the provided Micro USB cable and Fast Charge technology (FC) allows the light to recharge in 4 hours when using a 2A adapter. A minimal . 5A will charge the light in 6 hours. This means you can use your phone charger, computer, laptop, and most other USB power sources to charge the light wherever you may be. The unit is also tested to withstand repeated 1 meter drops on concrete and is fully waterproof for rainy days or muddy conditions. To the satisfaction of every customer, Light & Motion backs each product with a 2-year from manufacturing defects and faulty workmanship. Beyond that they are able to repair and replace lights for a nominal fee. They have online resources to find manuals and troubleshoot issues as well as an excellent customer care team.
