About the Author Charlotte Donaldson grew up with three sisters enjoying the country farm life of raising farm animals and riding horses experiencing Pony Club, Fox Hunting, riding her pony to her local school Upland Country Day School and riding bareback over the most beautiful rolling hills of Unionville, Chester County, PA. This is where her story begins. These are the memories that started Charlotte to write and photograph endlessly. Charlotte continued her passion for writing and photography throughout the rest of her life. Losing a dear friend who left behind two young boys caused Charlotte to want to write about her life, as she was then a single mother wanting her children to know, who she was if she should pass. She had help raise five step-children starting at age 25. She was then a single mother of her two infant daughters. There has been a great deal of alcoholism in her family and relationships.
