The book is an indispensable aid for properly identifying pottery, porcelain, and clay pieces. The various manufacturer listings contain paragraphs outlining the history of each company as well as interesting "insider" information. DeCiantis About the Author Lois Lehner graduated from Ohio State University, taugh speech and English for eighteen years in Delaware County, Ohio, where she was born and lived her sixty years. Even while teaching, Lois collected old and rare books. The Lehner farm family joined the bottle craze, even to digging dumps on neighboring farms and in surrounding towns. From books to bottles-to glass and pottery, her interest in antiques continued to grow. Lois Lehner passed away October 2007.
