This wood is straight-grained with small pores and a fine and uniform texture. Light weight but incredibly strong, this durable wood is used in fine furniture and crafts. It is prized by artists, architects, and designers for its extreme beauty. Spanish cedar is used in guitars, and fine woodworking. It is a great choice for carving.
