This clock is designed for outdoor and semi-outdoor use. When you use outdoor, make sure the weather is good as the cabinet is not water proof. The brightness allows it under the sun directly and you can still see it clear. The clock supports real time clock(in 12/24-hour display) and countdown/up function. When it works as a real time clock, it runs in hours minutes format and when it works as a countdown/up clock, it runs in minutes seconds format and supports up to 99 minutes 59 seconds countdown/up. The control method is IR. When used outdoor, IR remote control may be disturbed by sunlight, it's better to preset it or edit it when remote is very close to it. The lifespan of the clock is 100,000 hours.So, it's pretty cost effective. If you want a clock to work for a super long time, this is the best one for you. The clock works under 12VDC and the power adapter we provide is 100v-240v input. So you are free to use on your home/office/school...power source. You can also adjust the brightness by remote control.The case is made by aluminum alloy extrusion, so you don't have to worry about the rust issue during its long lifespan. The remote control need CR2025, 3V battery to power up. However, due to the forbidden policy of international shipping, we may take the battery off when deliver the item.
