About the Author Professor Christian Raulin has been Medical Director of the Karlsruhe Laser Clinic in Germany since 1998, having worked as a specialist in laser medicine for the preceding decade. His experience over many years in the application of different types of laser is reflected in his numerous contributions to the medical literature and at congresses. As a consequence, he is recognized as a leading authority on laser treatment in dermatology and cosmetic/aesthetic medicine. Dr. Syrus Karsai is a dermatologist in training at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University Clinic in Greifswald, Germany. Since 2006 the principal focus of his work has been aesthetic laser surgery, and during this time he has been the author of well over 40 international and national publications on this topic. He is recognized worldwide as a renowned expert in dermatological laser medicine and is also actively involved in the development of innovative laser devices.
