The design of the Kyosho Axxe buggy captures the essence of the popular off-road/rock racer category with its scale roll cage and the factory-detailed panels that are connected with quick fasteners. The panels are designed to pop off during a hard collision, much in the same way it would happen with a full-size machine. The panels are easily re-attached and you can be running again within seconds. Different color body panels are also available separately, so you can easily change the base color of your rig, or simply install new replacement panels to freshen up the look. The chassis features a bottom battery door that is secure, and still allows easy access to the battery for installation and removal, for both charging and maintenance. A Team Orion Ni-MH battery pack is included, as is a trickle charger to allow you to get running without any major additional purchases. All you need is four AA alkaline batteries. The speed controller and the radio receiver are mounted under the protective body, and they're water resistant, so you don't have to be too careful about where you run. A gear differential inside the transmission is standard. This produces more traction for more confident control, which results in some pretty spectacular fun once you become more skilled in your driving. Three-piece wheels are included with the Axxe, which means they not only look good, no glue is required to attach the tires to the wheels. When new tires are required, you can simple loosen some screws, install the new tires, and tighten them back down again. You don't have to buy new wheels, and you certainly don't have to worry about using glue. The Axxe is a complete package that comes completely factory-assembled and ready to run with the addition of just a few alkaline batteries. Everything else you need is included inside the package of these "Ready Set" factory-assembled RC vehicles that enable you to get to the "fun" part of owning a hobby-grade RC car more quickly.
