About Kris Ebony Dragon Walking Cane
DRAGON EBONY BASTON The beautifully carved dragon’s head is depicted clutching a ball inside its jaw. The belief is that the ball is there to restrain the dragon’s power. The body is carved showing scales spirally around the shaft with the tail ending at the bottom. Made from ebony Diospyros philippensis , the almost black wood have brown streaks and is heavy with fine grain. Total length is 35 inches. Dragon’s head is 1 inch round and tapers to 5/8 inch near the bottom tip. It has natural finish. This is definitely a special baston / cane with beautiful carvings on a heavy ebony wood.
