Acrylic is a very hard material, a good light transmitter, insoluble in water but soluble in non-aqueous solvents such as acetone. It has extraordinary characteristics to make models with bridges (it cools very quickly). It shows very little contraction, so it is not prone to defor-mation or delamination. It does not require a closed chamber or high extrusion temperatures
