KODAK ABS 3D filament is the preferred material for engineers and professional applications. Developed and optimized for easy printing incredibly strong parts. It is an extremely reliable 3D printing material suitable for making more durable, UV and chemical resistant stronger parts than with PLA. It can stand higher temperatures due to its higher glass transition point. It is slightly more flexible and can be easily painted, likewise it can be treated with acetone or acetone vapor to give it a glossy finish (be careful) and to make the object stronger or to solidly glue parts together. Use limonene soluble HIPS filament as support material for printing ABS. ABS shrinks when it cools so it is recommended to use a fully enclosed 3D printer with warm and steady air temperature (> 25°C) and heated bed in order to prevent delamination or warping.
