About Kizlyar KK0033 Centurion Tactical Knife
Centurion is a powerful knife equally suitable for demands and unpredictability of tactical operations as well as tough requirements of experienced outdoorsmen. It combines a blade of our bestselling Legion model with an innovative handle from a combat knife series called Viluy that was developed by a Russian military knife expert Victor Lugovoi. Victor, an experienced technical and materials specialist and his team of special unit veterans have been working on Viluy for many years and conducted numerous tests to achieve perfection. Whether you wrap your thumb around in a standard grip or place it on the back of the notched spine of the blade for slicing cuts, either grip makes cutting with the 5 3/4" AUS-8 blade feel almost effortless. The peculiar tip and blade geometry allows for easy penetration and support for the cutting edge. Fullers on both sides of the blade lighten the Centurion to a little over 8 oz (not including the sheath). The tang extends through the handle and is notched for multiple uses. If you use a reverse grip the it allows a firm thumb hold or use as a tactical hammer head, but more creative survivalists can think of more uses than us.
