These Kimble Chase culture tubes are suitable for tissue culture work and general bacteriological use. They have round bottoms and a chevron marking area. They are supplied in modular trays shrink-wrapped in plastic film. The top has a screw thread finish; caps are not included. These tubes are made from 51 expansion borosilicate glass. They meet requirements for the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E438, Type I, Class B, Standard Specification for Glass in Laboratory Apparatus, and the glass conforms to USP Type I requirements.
