About Keith Haring Official Licensed Bezel Case With

About Keith Haring Keith Haring was an artist and activist who frequently used his art to speak about social issues. He was one of the most renowned of the young artists, filmmakers, performers and musicians whose work responded to urban street culture of the 80s. Haring pushed his own youthful impulses toward a singular kind of graphic expression based on the primacy of the line. Throughout his career, Haring devoted much of his time to public works, which often carried social messages. He produced more than 50 public artworks between 1982 and 1989, in dozens of cities around the world, many of which were created for charities, hospitals, children's day care centers and orphanages. Diagnosed with AIDS in 1988, Haring established the Keith Haring Foundation in 1989 to provide funding and imagery to AIDS organizations, and to ensure that his philanthropic legacy would continue indefinitely.
