Replace battery Operation:1.Ensure 1AAA battery is installed2.Pull the probe out to turn on.Pull from the thin end and it will rotate out.3.For most accurate results the probe should be inserted at least 1cm into the meat.4.Always insert the probe into the center of the thickest part of the meat.5.To help make sure the tip of the probe is right in the center.is best to insert it from the side of a steak.6.When testing the temperature of whole poultry.insert the thermometer into the meatiest part of the thigh.7.Ensure the probe does not touch bone or gristle as this will lead to inaccurate temperature reads.8.The unit will automatically power off after 10 minutes.or when the probe is closed.9.Turn ON Release probe from its secure position Ambient temperature reads on display at once. Probe is ready to be used, if no reading shows then press the "ON/OFF" button.10.Turn OFF:Press "ON/OFF" button and return probe back to its secure position.Attention:-The thermometer is set to degrees Fahrenheit. Switch to the Celsius temperature, open the battery cover slide "°C/ °F" switch.-To test temperature,insert probe into thickest part of food.-Data hold.Before withdrawing from food.press "HOLD" button. It will hold the temperature reading.-Manual calibration, prepare ice-water mixture(ice:water=6:4), then using thermometer to measure the temperature of the mixture.
