Steaming is a fun and easy way to make healthy recipes at home for your family or just for you! Steaming foods in MSC’s silicone coated stainless steel steaming basket helps foods like vegetables to retain more of their nutritional value and texture. To Use: 1. Add fresh water to pot, approximately ¾” (or 2 cm). Water must be lower than the steamer’s base. Bring to a boil. 2. Add food item to the steamer then lower into the pot. 3. Cover pot and steam to desired texture and taste. Consult recipe for timing. Measurements: 1. 5.5” diameter 2. Expands to 9” 3. There is approx. ¾” of space between the bottom of the silicone feet and the base of the steamer
