About Jeep Wrangler Transfer Case Linkage For TJ/LJ/YJ

This is a DIY kit, and has many ways to make it work for a variety of Jeeps. If you are unsure of fit to your application, or have issues adjusting, please contact us with photos before filing for a return. We would rather have your jeep getting into all of its gears. Some setups may require cutting of our stainless rods in order to fit, which would effect return status. Our kit is bolt on, and simple, yet effective. Fixes issues with engaging 4 Low, rattling and worn plastic bushings in the factory linkage, and popping out of 4WD when the body flexes. Junk the old "Z" linkage, remove the lever from your transfer case, and install. Adjust, test, and go hit the trail. This is everything to replace the crummy factory operation. NO WELDING REQUIRED! Will fit MOST TJ and LJ setups with up to 1.5" body lift*. To test if it will work in your tj, measure from the hole in the selector lever to the center of the nut on the transfer case input shaft. If this measurement is over 9.5 inches with the lever in 4L, our kit will not work for your setup without modification and additional fabrication. Tested on YJ with AX5 transmission. due to every TJ setup being different, it may take a bit of tweaking to get to work with modified drivelines. Contact us before returning. Cherokee XJ, Comanche MJ applications use part number ADW010001X instead. Current version arrives packaged in a box with turnbuckle style center link. this provides a faster, dealer friendly installation. *Body lift depends on combination of body lift above frame, transfer case drop, and engine mount lifts / relocation. All these factors change the relationship between body and transfer case. Will not work with a tummy tuck on stock setup.
