It's night time in Osaka. The streets are wet from evening showers. It's chilly and you're glad you have your hoodie on. You sit at a red light and eye the car next to you. You can hear the gurgle of your engine as you up the revs -- like a giant prehistoric monster rising up to destroy cities. You've been building and tuning your japanese domestic market car for years. It's right-hand drive which makes it even more rare. When the light turns green, you pop the clutch and you're off like a rocket. Your shift kit pulses and you fly through your gears, each one seemingly endless. The city is a blur as you drift around corners. You look down at your JDM inspired japanese racing hoodie flickering under the passing streetlights and a calm comes over you. This is peak Japan.
