About J-Strap Shooting Aid
The J-Strap is a revolutionary shooting aid designed for your guide (or “support”) hand. If you have trouble with your guide hand moving while shooting, including thumbing the ball, pulling the ball, or shooting with both hands, the J-Strap can help. The J-Strap attaches to your non-dominant arm and thumb and prevents the wrist and thumb from internally rotating and therefore having a negative impact on your shot. It also puts your elbow bend in the perfect position for gripping the basketball on your set up. Made of a comfortable Neoprene material and lined with strong piping to prevent it from over-stretching, the J-Strap provides just enough resistance to keep your off-arm in the proper position during shot set up and release. For beginners, the J-Strap forces a proper one-arm shot, eliminating the two-handed shot tendency.
