About IVY Classic 09011 7/8-Inch Single-Hole Smooth Step

The IVY Classic 7/8-Inch Single-Hole Step Drill, constructed out of M2 high-speed steel, is designed to produce perfectly round, burr-free holes in metal, wood and plastic 1/8-inch thick. This precision ground, bright finish drill bit features a tri-lobe shank which won't slip in the drill chuck and a split point which provides fast penetration and accurate starting. The cone shape of this bit adds strength and prevents bit flexing while drilling. Additionally, the size of these bits has been laser-etched onto the bit for easy hole size identification. This bit is ideal for making perfect draw bolt holes and miniature pilot light holes.
