To make the netting more quiet and rustle-free for hunting, simply soak it in a "hunter-friendly" fragrance free detergent for about half an hour then let it hang dry (don't put it in the dryer). 2. The width from our factory is five (5) feet, which is the standard width from the machine. But due to the vacuum packaging, the netting sometimes shrinks a little. If your netting has experienced some shrinking, simply stretch it back out or reach us via Amazon message and we will be happy to assist you. Also, if you wash it, please hand wash and do not put it in the dryer as that will cause shrinking as well.
