Product Description This IRWIN Hand-Brace Adjustable Wood Drill Bit uses an adjustable cutting blade to bore a variety of hole sizes. The drill bits feature a micro-dial screw that can be turned to the desired boring diameter and have a taper square shank for use in a hand brace. The wood drill bit cuts 35 standard hole sizes in 1/16-inch increments. From the Manufacturer Irwin Lockhead Adjustable Wood Bit, with a boring range of 7/8 to 3 inches and an overall length of 8-1/8 inches in the one-piece drop forged construction bit, for general purpose boring in all types of wood where a variety of larger size holes are required. Adjustable bit is excellent for installing locks, roughing holes for pipe, school shop projects, and similar work and features a wedge type blade lock and medium-slow screw point.
