Besides, keep the dryer moving so you don't overheat the film. Installing Instructions First, measure the window and add an extra 2 inches to dimensions. Second, clean the window frame, allow it dry completely before installation. Third, apply the double-sided tape around the frame and remove paper liner. Next, you cut the plastic shrink film to your desired window, use the tape to affix the film to the window frame and press it properly on all sides. Finally, you blow the film with hair dryer to make wrinkle-free and trim any excess film.
