The Ali'ki Special is a new limited edition that Imperial Valley Guitars has just released for 2020. The Ali'ki Special is the super premium version of Imperial's Royal Hawaiian series, using the choicest sets of wood they can find. Top, back, sides and neck are all premium AAAA grade solid African Sapele mahogany. Add to that the genuine abalone pre-war Martin style "snowflake" inlays and a premium fitted extra deep hard shell case and you're talking about the finest instrument Imperial Valley Guitars can make. The Ali'ki Special uses the excellent Fishman Sonicore pickup with the Presys+ preamp system. This system features 4 bands of EQ, a notch filter for feedback busting and a phase switch, useful for adding extra fullness at low volumes, and the very handy built-in tuner.
