When you shortened it, you'd better measured your dog neck and cut the right length and that's it then put it back or inserted it again! Q: Does the charge port have a cover that is rubber or plastic? How water resistant is this? A: The charge port cover is good plastic. And the collar is only splash proof, not water resistant.
