About IFi Power Station Active Power Conditioner Mains
The Power Station is essential to enhancing the performance of any entertainment system. It is an eight way mains block that ensures any audio or video system is supplied with clean, consistent electricity to unleash its full potential. Every AV system can be tainted by poor mains quality. The Power Station is a highly effective product added to the iFi line that reduces noise and distortion in incoming electrical power. The Power Station is constructed with advanced technology and materials. Active Noise Cancellation II coupled with additional passive filtering on each outlet eradicates noise at the highest frequencies. The result is a mains bar that delivers highly effective reduction from unwanted noise and provides a cleaner crisper picture for OLED, LED, Smart Televisions and Projectors. Guard equipment from spikes and surges with instantaneous and repeatable protection that ensures damage will never occur as a result of power fluctuations. If the protection circuit is triggered, the Power Station will only reboot once it is absolutely safe. The case is solidly constructed from aluminium. Inside, each of the outlets is independently isolated within its own chamber, preventing differential mode cross-contamination. The Power Station will also indicate correct polarity and whether or not the system has a ground/earth in place. The lack of an effective earth can cause an audible buzz or hum through your speakers. This can be rectified by attaching the optional ground cable (sold separately) into the Power Station's earth socket. iFi calls this circuit Intelligent Ground. PurCopper is used extensively for its superior conductivity. This includes heavy-gauge internal wiring, solid busbars and the conductive elements of the outlets themselves.
