It's still a nice gi for you if you're just checking BJJ out and don't want to spend too much. Pretty cheap, durable, and does the job. It is lightweight but durable. The pants have a thick cord to tie with which is much better than what is in a lot of gi pants. Rolling in it you don't have to constantly retie them. you also do not 'notice' the gi a lot while rolling, Jacket fits great too, not too long and not too short which is to say it is cool and comfortable.
