This HoodMart makeup-air hood system is a Type-1 wall canopy hood that includes a BRP (Back Return Plenum), guaranteed to pass all city and state codes! Our Type-1 Hood is designed for use over cooking equipment to remove heat, smoke and grease laden vapors. The make-up air hood with BRP (Back Return Plenum) introduces the supply air thru the back of the hood and discharges into the room under the cooking equipment. Designed for use over cooking surface temperatures of 450, 600 and 700 degrees. HoodMart offers an optional low profile hood to accommodate low ceiling applications.. 16-foot by 48-inch commercial hood with 6-inch BRP (Back Return Plenum) makeup-air, Built-in 3-inch air gap on back of hood. Constructed from heavy-duty 18-guage 430 stainless steel (where exposed). Includes: hanging brackets, pre-wired light(s), stainless steel UL listed easy-to-clean grease baffle filters and stainless steel grease cup(s).
