The 1.25-gallon tank means the humidifier can run for up to 36 hours on the low setting, and the auto shutoff feature will turn off this advanced humidifier when the tank is empty. The humidifier comes with an optional demineralization cartridge that helps remove minerals from hard water and reduces white dust.
